NCP (SCP) not interested in CM face for Maharashtra assembly polls, says Sharad Pawar

IndiaTimes Saturday, 24 August 2024
Sharad Pawar, NCP (SCP) chief, emphasized that the MVA should prioritize changing the government over projecting a chief minister candidate in the upcoming assembly elections. While Shiv Sena (UBT) insisted on declaring a CM face, Pawar suggested focusing on governance and finalizing the seat-sharing formula. The MVA will reconvene for seat-sharing discussions on August 27.
