Kerala: Dad wants 'Killed in Action' status for CRPF officer shot by jawan

M Balan, the father of a CRPF assistant commandant killed during a firing incident, sought 'Killed in Action' status for his son from the Kerala High Court. Although most benefits have been provided, he argued this status would ensure additional compensation. The court directed the Union government to consider his plea within three months.
