Delhi Metro tweaks plan to avoid felling of 69 trees

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) revised construction plans on the Janakpuri West–RK Ashram Marg corridor to save 69 trees. However, they still await approval to fell or transplant 71 trees on the Majlis Park–Maujpur corridor. A total of 5,003 trees were cut, and over 7,000 trees were transplanted across Delhi for Phase IV expansion.
