NDA holds majority in Rajya Sabha after 12 members elected unopposed
Wednesday, 28 August 2024 Twelve candidates including nine from BJP, two from its allies in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and one from Congress have been elected unopposed to Rajya Sabha in the elections to vacant seats in the Upper House of Parliament.
Reacting to the CAG report on the money spent on renovating the Delhi chief minister's residence,' AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Monday said BJP speaking about corruption was like 'Osama Bin Laden preaching non-violence.'
Singh was responding to BJP questioning Arvind Kejriwal on the source of funds used for the renovation. BJP has termed the CM's residence as Kejriwal's 'Sheeshmahal.'
