Maharashtra gazetted employees' union unhappy with Unified Pension Scheme

Three days after the Maharashtra state cabinet approved the Centre’s Unified Pension Scheme (UPS), the Maharashtra State Gazetted Employees Federation (MSGEF) expressed dissatisfaction. The MSGEF prefers the revised pension scheme by the Subodh Kumar committee over the UPS. They also demand the return of the 10% employee contribution to the New Pension Scheme upon retirement.
