Will not sit quietly till govt in Maharashtra is changed, vows Sharad Pawar
Monday, 2 September 2024 () Sharad Pawar, president of NCP (SP), declared the opposition's determination to remove the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra within two months. Speaking to party workers in Mumbai, he criticized the current administration for the collapse of a Shivaji Maharaj statue in Sindhudurg, suggesting corruption and poor workmanship. Pawar stressed the need for a new government founded on Shivaji's ideals.
