Bengal swimmer Sayani Das first Indian woman to cross North Channel

Bengal's Sayani Das achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian woman to swim across the North Channel, covering 38 km from Northern Ireland to Scotland in 13 hours 22 minutes. This feat is her fifth in the Oceans Seven challenge, a series of seven demanding open water channel swims.
