The CBI arrested Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College, after prolonged interrogations and polygraph tests. Ghosh, linked to both a rape-murder investigation and financial irregularities, was taken to the anti-corruption branch. His arrest corresponds with ongoing corruption inquiries involving three others. The state health department will soon deliberate his suspension.
