Suspecting woman was raped & killed, Odisha villagers halt cremation

In a village near Sambalpur, locals refused to cremate a 25-year-old woman over suspicions of rape and murder, fearing bad luck. Police, awaiting the autopsy report, conducted the cremation in Rairakhol town with help from the district administration. A neighbor has been arrested for her murder but denies rape allegations.
