Herd of jumbos stuck as landslides wipe out transit trail in Wayanad

The catastrophic landslide in Wayanad has resulted in the deaths of 230 people and left 78 others missing. This natural disaster has also impacted a crucial elephant transit route between Nilambur and Wayanad forests. A herd of 12 elephants is now confined near the affected areas, facing challenges in returning to their original habitat.
