The Maharashtra government has eased conditions on guarantees for loans worth Rs 631.6 crore to five cooperative sugar factories linked to political figures. The new policy removes property attachment and NOC requirements, though directors remain personally liable for repayment, they only need to submit a bond regarding their liability.
