Call to shun Urdu ‘shahi’, rename Kumbh bath as ‘Rajasi Snan’

The Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad intends to rename the 'Shahi Snan' of Maha Kumbh as 'Rajasi Snan', aligning it more closely with Sanatan dharm values. Supported by Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav, this change aims to replace the Urdu term 'shahi'. The new name will be adopted for the 2025 Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj.
