Protests erupt in Shimla over mosque’s legality, its demolition sought

In Shimla's Sanjauli market, protesters demanded the demolition of a mosque alleged to be illegally constructed and housing illegal immigrants. PWD minister Vikramaditya Singh assured that action would be taken if the building is found illegal. The case is under review by the municipal commissioner's court, with a hearing scheduled for Sept 7.
