Delhi govt launches subsidized onion sales amid price surge

The Delhi government has started selling onions at a subsidised price of Rs 35 per kg to ease the burden on consumers in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. Government cooperatives NCCF and NAFED are distributing onions through various channels, including mobile vans, e-commerce platforms, Kendriya Bhandar outlets, and Mother Dairy’s Safal stores.
