Himachal Pradesh not to hand over historic Gondhla fort in Lahaul-Spiti to ASI

The Himachal Pradesh government has opted to renovate and preserve the historic Gondhla fort in Lahaul-Spiti district using its own resources and local support, rather than transferring it to the Archaeological Survey of India. The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage is preparing a detailed project report on the renovation.
