Assam to be ‘very strict’, NRC application must to get Aadhaar card: CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

This initiative aims to control illegal immigration. Exceptions apply to those with locked biometrics during the NRC process and residents in tea garden areas due to practical difficulties.
