Lucknow building collapse: Owner ignored structural defects

A building collapse in Lucknow's Transport Nagar led to eight deaths and 28 injuries. Owner Rakesh Singhal is charged with criminal negligence and culpable homicide for using sub-standard materials. A state committee is investigating the incident while rescue efforts are ongoing. CM Yogi Adityanath assured injured victims of optimal medical care during his visit.
