Monday, 9 September 2024 Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has suspended IPSofficer Sujith Das after a leaked conversation with MLA P V Anvar surfaced. The audio raised concerns about police conduct and internal issues. Das, formerly serving in Pathanamthitta, is also accused of covering up illegal activities. An internal investigation confirmed serious lapses in his conduct.
