27 candidates withdraw nomination for 2nd phase of J&K polls

On the final day for withdrawing nominations in the second phase of J&K assembly elections, 27 candidates stepped back, resulting in a total of 239 contenders across six districts. Initially, there were 309 nominees for the 26 constituencies. The polling is set to take place on September 25.
