Centre announces soybean procurement at MSP in MP; protesting farmers want more

Union agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced soybean procurement in Madhya Pradesh at Rs 4,892 per quintal. Farmers demand Rs 6,000 per quintal to avoid losses and have been agitating over falling prices. A mega rally is planned in Harda district to press for higher procurement rates.
