Engineer Rashid says ready to support INDIA bloc in J&K polls but on this condition

Engineer Rashid, recently out on interim bail in a terror-funding case, has vowed to back opposition INDIA bloc candidates in Jammu and Kashmir if they pledge to restore Article 370. ​Rashid further said if India desires to achieve the dream of being a global power, it will have to "address the Kashmir issue".​ Rashid emerged victorious from Baramulla against Omar Abdullah in the 2024 Parliamentary elections held earlier this year.
