Bharat Biotech sues BHU researchers over Covaxin study

Bharat Biotech has taken legal action against 11 BHU researchers and the journal Drug Safety over a study on Covaxin's side effects. Alleging defamation, Bharat Biotech seeks a permanent injunction and Rs 5 crore in damages. The researchers argue that the lawsuit aims to suppress criticism and hinder academic freedom.
