Swati Vijay Kulkarni appointed as India's next ambassador to Algeria

Swati Vijay Kulkarni has been appointed as India's next Ambassador to Algeria, according to the ministry of external affairs. An Indian foreign service officer from the 1995 batch, she is currently an additional secretary in the ministry. Diplomatic relations between India and Algeria have remained cordial since their establishment in July 1962.
