Himachal: VHP calls for bandh against unauthorised mosques and police clashes

Protests erupted across Himachal Pradesh towns as the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and business groups called a bandh against alleged unauthorized mosque constructions and police actions. Demonstrations took place in Bilaspur, Kullu, Chamba, Hamirpur, and Paonta Sahib. Clashes between police and protesters in Shimla and Mandi heightened tensions earlier this week.
