Mamata's olive branch to doctors fails to end RG Kar impasse - Top developments

The scheduled meeting between West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and protesting junior doctors was canceled due to disagreements over recording the discussion. "You can't keep on insulting me like this," Mamata told protestors adamant on live-streaming demand. Initially demanding live-streaming, the doctors later agreed to proceed without it. However, they were informed by government officials that it was too late for the meeting to take place.
