Kerala's Malappuram district has confirmed its second Nipah virus death within two months. A 24-year-old student from Bengaluru died on September 9 after returning to Naduvath. Five people showing symptoms are quarantined, and authorities have identified 151 primary contacts. Face masks are now mandatory in Thiruvali panchayat.
