Delhi's fire department noted a significant rise in house collapse incidents this year, reporting a total of 344 cases from January to August. These events resulted in 22 deaths and 172 injuries. Major contributing factors included rainfall, unauthorized constructions, and aging structures. The highest number of incidents occurred in August with 90 reported cases.
