RG Kar case: Who is new Kolkata Police commissioner Manoj Verma who replaced Vineet Goyal
Manoj Kumar Verma has been named the new Kolkata Police Commissioner by the West Bengal government, succeeding Vineet Kumar Goyal. Goyal is now assigned as ADG and IGP of the Special Task Force. The state also appointed Dr Kaustav Nayak as Director of the Institute of Health and Family Welfare amidst other administrative shifts.
