4,400-year-old copper weapons discovered in UP; discovery sheds new light on Ganga Valley's ancient culture

Vijaya Kumar, a city-based archaeologist and former DGP, has discovered copper weapons in Shahjahanpur linked to the Ochre Coloured Pottery culture. Carbon dating reveals these artefacts date back to 2400 BC, pointing to an ancient Chalcolithic culture in the Ganga Valley. The findings are published in the Indian Journal of Archaeology.
