'No one was wearing life jacket': Speedboat carrying MPs, MLA capsizes in West Bengal

A speedboat carrying MPs Asit Mal and Samirul Islam, MLA Abhijit Sinha, and Birbhum DM Bidhan Ray capsized while they were inspecting flood-affected areas in Labhpur. They were rescued by SDRF after being flung into the river. Fifteen villages are submerged, cutting off communication between several villages. A probe has been initiated to determine the cause of the accident.
