Karnataka mulls 6 days of paid period leave a year for public & private sectors

Karnataka is considering a significant move to offer six days of paid menstrual leave annually for women in both private and public sectors. An 18-member committee has been established to draft the bill. If passed, Karnataka will join Bihar, Kerala, and Odisha in providing menstrual leave, aiming to enhance work-life balance for women.
