3,000-year-old Kedarnath trek route to be restored to ease congestion

This Rs 5.5 crore project involves rock cutting and constructing safety features like railings and retaining walls. The initiative addresses recent monsoon damage and rising pilgrim numbers, aiming for completion before the next pilgrimage season.
