Pune witnesses 131mm in just over 3 hours, schools, colleges to remain close today

Shivajinagar in Pune saw its highest September rainfall in 86 years, recording 131mm within three hours. Heavy rains also hit Chinchwad and other areas, leading to landslides and disruptions. The India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for more heavy rain and thunderstorms expected in Pune.
