First Mpox case reported in Kerala, 9-year-old tests positive

Ernakulam has reported its first Mpox case, marking the fourth instance in Kerala. A 29-year-old man from the UAE tested positive and is stable. Health Minister Veena George convened a high-level meeting to review the situation and bolster preventive measures. Isolation facilities have been prepared in all districts for better management.
