250 doctors at Meerut hospital resign after deceased patient’s kin assaults colleague

Approximately 250 junior resident doctors at LLRM Medical College in Meerut resigned to protest against the institution’s neglect of their safety after a colleague was assaulted by a deceased patient's attendant. The ensuing strike halted emergency services, with doctors demanding safety measures. An FIR led to one arrest and efforts continue to apprehend the main assailant.
