Amethi murder case: 'Accused Chandan tried to persuade family to drop case, but in vain'

Chandan Verma, accused of murdering a Dalit teacher and his family in Amethi, was wounded in a police encounter during a weapon recovery operation. He had targeted the family due to a case filed against him. Chandan admitted to acquiring a pistol and fleeing to Delhi post-murders.
