‘BJP not confident of going into Maharashtra poll with new faces’

BJP has shown a preference for the old guard by naming 71 sitting MLAs in its list of 99 candidates for the Maharashtra assembly polls. This includes some who lost in the recent LS polls, indicating a lack of confidence in new faces. Women candidates and key community representatives were also strategically chosen.
