Maharashtra assembly polls: NCP gives poll ticket to Sana Malik; Nawab Malik unlikely to get nominated
Friday, 25 October 2024 () NCP leader Ajit Pawar announced Sana Malik and Zeeshan Siddique's candidacies for the November 20 assembly elections. Sana replaces her father Nawab Malik, who faces opposition from BJP over previous allegations. Several former BJP members have also joined NCP. Some, like Sanjay Kaka Patil and Pratap Patil Chikhalikar, had lost recent elections and switched allegiance.
