Delhi records sixth 'very poor' air quality day in October, worse expected ahead

However, air quality is expected to deteriorate on Diwali due to firecracker emissions and stubble burning. Authorities have directed strict enforcement of measures to control pollution. The weather was warmer than usual, with high temperatures above normal.
