A slice of Pune now in Phuket: Thai replica of iconic Dagdusheth Temple

A replica of Pune's Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple has been built in Phuket, Thailand. Spearheaded by Thai businesswoman Papa Son Mipa, the project cost Rs 9 crore and took 15 months to complete. The new temple, named Lord Shreemant Ganpati Bappa Temple, offers devotees in Thailand a spiritual connection to the original temple in Pune.
