False identities, new mobile sets and fake SIMs: How mastermind of Delhi doctor’s murder evaded cops for months
Saturday, 2 November 2024 () Delhi Police crime branch arrested Vishnuswaroop Shahi, the mastermind behind the May murder of Dr Yogesh Chander Paul, near the Indo-Nepal border. Shahi, who evaded capture by changing identities and locations, was implicated through mobile records and his accomplices' confessions. The crime was planned with inside information from the doctor's domestic helper and involved robbery.
