Bengaluru bizman trusts WhatsApp message, loses Rs 6.6 crore

A 50-year-old businessman in Bengaluru lost Rs 6.6 crore to fraudsters through a fraudulent stock trading scheme on WhatsApp, using an app called 'ECAUSE-WAY'. The scammers, posing as investors, lured him with promises of high returns and fake profits.
