CM Revanth Reddy orders setting up of ‘dedicated Backward Classes panel’ to fix reservations in Telangana

Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy announced the formation of a dedicated Backward Classes (BC) Commission to determine BC quotas in local bodies. This decision follows a High Court directive and aims to ensure the caste census, starting November 6, withstands legal scrutiny. The existing BC Commission will collaborate with the new dedicated commission.
