‘Bleeding’ man dies as 3 govt hospitals turn him away in Kolkata

An autorickshaw driver in Kolkata passed away following a 10-hour ordeal seeking treatment for a head injury. Despite visiting three government hospitals, he was denied admission due to a lack of beds. He was finally admitted to SSKM Hospital only after his family sought intervention from the Chief Minister's office, but tragically, he died shortly after.
