Soldier leaves 3-year-old locked in car, killing her in Meerut; arrested

A 38-year-old Lance Naik was arrested in Meerut for allegedly causing the death of a three-year-old girl due to negligence. The accused, while intoxicated, left the child locked inside his car with the windows closed, leading to her death from suffocation. The incident occurred on October 30th, and the arrest was made on Wednesday following a police complaint.
