Devendra Fadnavis called Raj Thackeray a good friend. Fadnavis confirmed BJP will compete against MNS candidates in the assembly poll. Raj Thackeray targeted Congress over the issue of mosque loudspeakers. He claimed he had forced the removal of mosque loudspeakers during Uddhav Thackeray's tenure as chief minister. This led to 17,000 cases being filed against his supporters.
