Telangana govt to fast track greater Hyderabad expansion by merging 24 municipalities by 2025

The Telangana government is planning to merge 24 municipalities into the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) by January 2025. This move aims to pave the way for the creation of a Greater City Corporation (GCC) encompassing the areas within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) by December 2025.
