Dirtiest air in country: Season’s 1st fog, ‘severe’ punishment for Delhiites

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 13 November 2024 ()
Delhi experienced its first "severe" air quality day of the season on Wednesday, with the AQI reaching 418. Dense fog, calm winds, and low temperatures trapped pollutants, significantly reducing visibility. While the CAQM called it an "episodic event," experts emphasized the need to address pollution sources. The fog is expected to persist, and the CAQM will continue monitoring the situation.
