Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar went through security checks during their election campaigns. Election officials inspected their bags at Palghar and Baramati. BJP shared footage of Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis undergoing similar checks earlier this month. This follows recent protests by Uddhav Thackeray over election officials checking his bags twice in two days.
