Saturday, 16 November 2024 Five Maoists, including two women, were killed in a daylong encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh's Bastar region. Two jawans were also injured in the gunfight. The encounter took place in a jungle on the border of Kanker and Narayanpur districts, close to the Maharashtra border.
